      <image:caption>Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice where each pose is held for around 3-5mins or more. This process stretches and lubricates the connective tissues in the body, encouraging flexibility and tissue health. It also improves the quality and mobility of qi or energy flow in the body, a belief derived from Chinese Meridian theory in Chinese Medicine. In the same way that acupuncture and massage can target specific areas of the body to stimulate the flow of qi, Yin can be an incredibly powerful tool to promote organ health, healing the body in a more natural way. This practice is the opposite of a Yang practice (ie. such as vinyasa) and it is highly recommended to practice Yin along side vinyasa to bring the body back into balance. As someone who is half Chinese, you can imagine, this practice is something close to my heart. Yin: 200 hours Accredited by Sarah Lo.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>I was 12 years old when my Aunt introduced me to cupping in Indonesia. Cupping is a non invasive way to to enhance circulation, remove toxins, provide pain relief and clear inflammation, all of which may be lingering in your body’s tissues. Glass or plastic jars are placed on the skin, the air is sucked out which creates a vacuum within the cup and applied directly on selective points or areas of concern. Like massage, it usually feels pleasant with no pain but a sense of release. Whether you are an athlete or suffer from aches and pains and would like to try something new to remedy any discomfort - it’s definitely worth a try.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>My body has transcended many different versions - from childhood to motherhood - so I understand the importance of adapting a yoga practice to suit the individual. Acting as a guide, rather than a teacher, my intention is for my students to develop their own practice by fostering an understanding of anatomy and the importance of a mindfulness of the body. I believe yoga is for every body and everybody can cultivate a safe practice that balances discipline with creativity and challenge with acceptance. I am also very privileged to call Sarah Lo my teacher and mentor, who I have learnt so much from through attending her workshops and assisting her teacher trainings. My mission: Cultivating Connection through Mindful Movement.</image:caption>
